Superhero Muffins are made with real, nutrient-dense ingredients including oats, almond flour, dates, dehydrated fruits and veggies and the fresh ingredients that you add including eggs, butter, milk or yogurt (or water)—giving you lasting energy without the sugar crash. Originally developed by Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky as a performance snack for runners, they’ve since become a go-to for anyone seeking freshly baked fuel instead of overly sweet and hard-to-digest energy bars.

The base of our mix is made with gluten-free oats, almond flour, dates (ground into a powder), baking soda and salt. Then each muffin flavor features one dehydrated veggie like beets, sweet potato, or carrots and one or two dehydrated or freeze-dried fruits (ground into a powder) to provide a hint of natural sweetness. Dehydrated fruits and veggies retain their nutrients. Depending on the flavor we also add cinnamon and ginger or unsweetened cocoa powder.

Simply add eggs, butter or coconut oil and water (or milk or yogurt) and then any extra mix-ins to make them your own! Full instructions are on the back of the pouch. On our blog, you can find additional recipes to make them vegan or high in protein.
