Simple Tropical Smoothie

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mixed tropical fruit (strawberries, mango, pineapple, etc.)
  • 1 cup orange juice (or less for a thicker smoothie bowl)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seed protein (or nut butter)
  • ½ cup water (or ice for thicker)

Optional Boost

Sneak in one veggie for an added nutrient punch:

  • 1 peeled carrot
  • handful of kale, stems removed
  • ½ beet, steamed, peeled and frozen

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. This is thick, so use the tamper tool. Enjoy immediately or keep chilled for up to two days.
